june sun

June sun brings foggy mornings which saturate absolutely everything, including exams.
I remember June mornings without classes and with plenty of sun; leaning out of the window, cigarette in hand; dreaming of future springs without exams...
I was unaware then that exams would pursue me; that there are always exams;that those, in fact, were the best kind because they offered a second or third attempt. Or more. Unlike in life where you fail forever. And at the first try too. With no September.
Parachutes we are! Zero error. But humans need SOME margin. It is almost a right.
June arrives with a wave of warm light and many are longing for suns without exams, thinking that their lives are hanging on a string, dependent on a result.
They are wrong. No big deal. It never is a big deal. In the end the only thing that really matters is what you do with your heart, where you leave it; with whom. If it is placed in a safe place, then every struggle is worthwhile.
Even without sun.
